'Snow Ball Tree'
Giclee print from original watercolor done on site. The explosion of white blooms the size of snowballs hover above the sun bleached side walk on the roadside. Unremarkable bushes and trees line most of the roads in the San Fernando Valley where I live. But they all seem to have their day and explode with color at some point. The trick is to try and catch them when they do! With this one it was the precariousness of the bouncing blooms that attracted my attention. I painted it on a hot Sunday morning. While I was working several families walked by in their Sunday Church clothes.
The inks and watercolor paper used in this print are archival which means the materials are state of the art and made to last. The print is individually signed by the artist.
